LSX (formerly Biotech and Money) hosted the Lifestars Awards at the Honourable Artillery Company, London, on 13 November 2018.

It was a fantastic celebration of the success stories, innovations, transformational deals and the people, teams and organisations that have played such a critical role in the advancement of the life sciences industry over the last 12 months in Europe and the US.

Winners were announced in 16 categories, selected by a panel of judges with expertise across the life sciences sector.

The event brought together global life science leaders, investors, deal makers and key stakeholders from the wider eco-system over a champagne reception, gala dinner, and awards ceremony hosted by comedian and writer Lucy Porter.

The 2018 Lifestars Awards were proudly run in association with Jefferies on the evening of LSX's Inv€$tival Showcase. It was the signature, evening networking function during the Jefferies Annual Healthcare Conference in London, Europe's largest healthcare investment banking conference.

LSX would like to thank the judging faculty, award sponsors, and attendees, and congratulate all of the winners, highly commended, and shortlisted companies.

Neil Darkes, Co-CEO of LSX, said: "LSX are delighted that the 2018 Lifestars Awards have been an incredible vehicle to promote and bring together a deserved audience of life science executives to highlight the advances they have made in their industry over the last 12 months. Those individuals, teams and companies in this year’s finalist roster are to be commended on their achievements. Whilst it’s not possible for everyone to win an award, in being selected as a finalist, they can be proud of their achievements and proud to have been recognised by their peers. Congratulations once again to our 2018 finalist roster and to our category winners!”
