About LSX Nordic Congress

The LSX Nordic Congress was born from a gathering of Nordic CEOs at the LSX World Congress in early 2018. After an incredible year of public healthcare listings in 2017, it was clear there was a unique funding and investment dynamic across the region. While listings were high, there was a dearth of private growth funding, despite a number of excellent specialist investors leading the sector and an excellent output of scientific and technological innovation across the region.

With Nasdaq as partners, we launched the Nordic Congress to address these regional challenges and look to bring our international investor network to connect with the huge Nordic innovation opportunity with the aim and mission to promote growth, internationalisation and investment in Scandinavian life sciences.

Since then, the region has continued to flourish, not only with ever-more innovation and company growth across Biotech, but also further emerging as a leading hub in Medtech and Healthtech as convergence in healthcare continues apace. What's more, new locally grown investment funds have continued to emerge and international interest from investors and Big Pharma, Medtech and Tech has increased.

After two years in Stockholm with Nasdaq, and two years virtually, as we returned to an in person event we felt the time was right to do something new. As the hub of Medicon Valley, the crucible of Scandinavian life sciences, and with fantastic local support, we chose Copenhagen as the home of the LSX Nordic Congress 2022!
