The mission of the LSX Start-Up CEO Forum is to provide a unique, powerful and valuable space for the candid sharing of experience between the sector's up and coming life science start-up executives, so that they can leave with new ideas that will drive their businesses forward.
It is an exclusive roundtable forum where all participants are active discussants and have an equal voice. Targeting just 20-25 leading CxOs, to ensure conversation is meaningful, it follows a strict Chatham House Rule policy and includes case study peer review and a general discussion focused on brainstorming solutions to the collective challenges of CxOs in the sector.
Taking place in a closed-door session at the LSX World Congress, the forum features:
Given the scope and focus on the forum, the Private CEO Forum is only open to pre-series A private life science company executives and spinouts of our TTO partners.
The Start-Up Forum can be added as a free-to-attend agenda item during the online registration process. Limited places available.
The Case Studies
CEO's and/or Event Partners put forward "cases" - either success stories or current challenges - focusing on either a fundraising, financing, M&A, licensing or other corporate transaction and use the group as "consultants" with this format:
The General Discussion
All the attendees in the room will be asked:
"If you could have the answer to one question that would help change the fundamental way your business runs, what would it be?"
The questions will be scored- the highest score going to the question asked by the most people, and that becoming the focus of the discussion.
